Chelsea captain John Terry may not be the Premier League’s most popular player, but he showed a touch of class after the Blues beat Crystal Palace to win the title on Sunday.

The ex-England skipper offered his support to Rio Ferdinand and his family, following the tragic passing of his former teammate’s wife Rebecca Ellison.

Terry told Sky Sports: ‘On behalf of myself and everyone at Chelsea, I would like to send my condolences to Rio Ferdinand and his family.’ source" metro
