The Chairman of the Owerri zone Peoples Democratic Party PDP (Rtd) General Rowland Ogbonna over the weekend lauded the doggedness and steadfastness of Barrister Humphrey Anumudu in PDP saying that he deserves the party’s sympathy.
Speaking during the visit of Barrister Anumudu to the Owerri zone PDP at their office, General Ogbonna explained that what any political party need at every time is committed and loyal party men without prevarications.
He used the opportunity to remind Barrister Anumudu of an earlier financial pledge made to the party by one of his aids and appealed to him to redeem it. According to General Ogbonna, PDP parades many qualified Governorship aspirants who will be accordingly be given the opportunity to showcase their prowess.
Addressing the zone earlier, Barrister Anumudu took his audience down memory lane by informing them how he and few people like late Senator Emeka Echeruo, Chief I.D. Nwoga, Chief Greg Mbadiwe, Governor Rochas Okorocha, Chief Achike Udenwa and few other Imo sons midwifed PDP in the early 90′s in the state.
Anumudu who disclosed that he single handedly paid rent for the first PDP office in the state said that he has consistently supported the party financially since its inception. Pointing out that despite the fact that his ticket was taken away from him in 1998 by the party, that he has remained loyal and resilient.

He used the opportunity to inform the zone of his interest to run for the PDP Governorship election in 2015 and appealed to them for their support.
