JOHN KUMUYI'S CONTROVERSIAL WEDDING

John kumuyi's bride, Love Odih, has been accused of showing off and going against the present doctrines of the church. She has been confronted with allegations as she used make-up and other ostentatious accessories along with her dress. Her wedding took place in Jamaica. The newly wedded couple married on June 15, 2013.

This is the wedding of John Kumuyi. He is the second son of the General-Superintendent of Deeper Christian Life Ministry. The church has suspended the groom.

The reason behind the same was that the bride was wearing a dress that is against the church's standards. The bride's gown was flowing and her hair was not natural. She had applied lipstick and make-up which looked very flashy.

The couple have responded by saying, "We unreservedly and wholeheartedly state that we did not intend that our acts or omissions will, in any way, undermine the great works that God has done through the Deeper Christian Life Ministry worldwide and more especially, through our Father in the Lord, the General Superintendent".

Their apology was read out by Pastor Akpofure. The services were held at the Deeper Life Conference Centre, Lagos-Ibadan Expressway. After this, the church asked the couple to stay in suspension which would give them time to pray and ask for forgiveness because of this action.Source: newspoint
