NAME SENT TO HOUSE FOR CLEARANCE AS
REPLACEMENT
It was a dramatic twist in Imo State as the Panel setup by the Imo Chief Judge to investigate allegations of misconduct against the Imo Deputy Governor submitted its report today 28th March 2013. The report
followed the failure of the Deputy Governor to appear before it to answer to the charges against him.
Consequently the Panel submitted its report indicting the Deputy Governor and upon which the House sat and formally ratified the report and impeached the Deputy Governor. Twenty-five out of the 26 members of the Imo State House of Assembly approved the impeachment.

The drama however was that the Speaker IMHA Hon. Ben Uwajimogu announced to the House that the Governor has forwarded the name of his Chief of Staff, Prince Eze Madumere as replacement. More details later.
