The Ndigbo and Cost of Impunity

This is happening in Lagos Ladipo Market. Is this not the same State which is one of the strongholds of the APC government that is wooing Ndigbo for 2015?. We are really not safe in any part of Nigeria. In Northern Nigeria, we are been slaughtered like rams, and our leaders are begging, negotiating and paying them compensations.

We are as well not safe in the West of Lagos State, where our people are killed, thrown into jail, and their properties destroyed, as presently seen at Ladipo Market, under Governor Fashola. The level of impunity has risen to an alarming rate.
Government is now wasting resources daily by their actions and increasing youth’s unemployment and its consequences, closing down industries, killing enterpreneurship and encouraging foreign and adulterated goods.

Niger Delta Militants were paid billions of naira and they are still been paid till date, giving overseas training, scholarship, oil wells etc. Boko Haram arsonists are been negotiated with and billions of naira and oversea training plus oil wells will follow later. Odi people in River State are to be compensated with billions of naira, Zaki Ibiam in Jos was awarded N37 billions for invading their community and massacre. A River State indigene was awarded cost for damages by a court in USA recently, and a major oil company is presently negotiating the value to be paid. In all this, the Ndigbo are at the receiving end. They are never compensated when their rights are trampled upon, even the over 5m Biafran genocide of 1967/70 is still being continued till date silently.

Religion is not helping matters to achieve desired peace, since we were told that "since the time of John the baptist, the kingdom of God suffered violence and that only the violent can achieve it by force". Ndigbo, please let`s go for what rightly belongs to us, since, even in peace time, like this, we must die, then lets die fighting harder and not die like a coward, until official war is declared. The theory of fighting and running away for another day, is not an all time principle, use it now, where necessary.
