Leave Anyanwu, Ihedioha alone, youths tell Okorocha

Youths from Owerri zone, Imo State have told the state governor, Rochas Anayo Okorocha to let the senator representing the zone in the senate, Chris Anyanwu continue to give the people of the zone effective and efficient representation.
The youths operating under the aegis of Owerri Zonal Youth Assembly (OZYA) spoke through their president, Comrade Franklyne Edede concerning the media attacks on the senator and deputy speaker of the House of Representatives, Chief Emeka Ihedioha.

According to the OZYA president, the duo of Senator Anyanwu and Chief Ihedioha have given their constituents true representations.
Comrade Edede alleged that Governor Okorocha is fighting Senator Anyanwu simply because he wants his Chief of Staff to go to Senate in 2015.
The youth leader said it is unfair for the governor to be fighting the Senator after he rode on the influence of Senator Anyanwu to win election in 2011.
The Ezinihitte Mbaise born human rights activist said that it is on record that Senator Anyanwu has championed the course of better Owerri zone better than all the Senators who had represented the zone in the past.
He described the senator as a true democrat and patriotic Nigerian who has lived up to expectation.
Comrade Edede who is also the president of World wide Igbo Youth Network stated that all the misleading media attacks on Senator Anyanwu and Chief Ihedioha will not stop the duo from their resolve in bettering the state.
He maintained that the political rise and excellence of the two great politicians from the zone should be applauded by all and sundry including Governor Okorocha and his Chief of Staff.
Comrade Edede warned that the youths of the zone will stop at nothing to make sure that all the political detractors are stopped from distracting the senator and deputy speaker.
The OZYA president asserted that all the projects, programmes the media publications were claiming to be federal projects were the initiatives of Senator Anyanwu and Chief Ihedioha.
Comrade Edede opined that Senator Anyanwu as a senator has done so much for the people of Mbaitoli LGA and so should be lauded by the people of the area.
Comrade Edede added that the youths of the zone in particular and the state in general are at home with the sterling performances of Anyanwu and Ihedioha and will continue to support them so that the state will move forward.
