Ghollywood, Friend or Foe of Nollywood?

Ghollywood, one of African`s fast growing movie industry, recently took a hostile and a decision which suggest to checkmate one of her friendly and partnership  in business from Nigeria, the ( Nollywood ). Before the recent runbles, both Ghollywood and Nollywood
were true partners in progress, with the Nigerian counterpart dominating the scene do to her skillful and experience artist and producers in her team list.

There were mutual agreement where both parties could operate without any form of hindrance from any quater in both countries. However, this mutual agreement seems to have outlived its usefulness considering the actions of the Ghanian authorities, who disrespected this mutual agreement and brought the intergrity of the Nigerians to test by imposing a fee of $1,000, on any Nigerian actor or producer who intends to work in that country. In a letter sent to the Actors Guild of Nigeria, board of trustees, by the Ghollywood authority, "Henceforth, any Nigerian actor paticipting in our productions will be compelled to pay $1,000, or risk loosing the job" the statement read=www.naijanewsandevents.com.

However, according to a statement from the President of  Actors`Guild of Nigerian (AGN), Segun Arinze, said they are not unaware of the recent change of attitude from her Ghanian counterpart. He was quoted as  saying that they were still studying the situation, and would employ everything humanly possible within the diplomatic channels to checkmate the hostile decision of the Ghollywood authorities.

With this development, the mutual and friendly reletionships between the two sisters from the West African region in enteertainment industry,  now looks gloomy, and could get worse if urgent steps are not taken to address this ugly situation by the concerned authorities from both countries. The reasons ( TO CURB THE DOMINANT ROLL OF THEIR NIGERIAN COUNTERPART IN ORDER TO GIVE AMPLE OPPORTUNITIES TO THEIR LOCAL ARTIST, AS WELL AS DEVELOP HER MOVIE AND TELEVISION INDUSTRY TO AN ENVIABLE HEIGHT) given by the Ghanian authority for the up-shoot of the fee against the Nigerians can be said to borne out of greed  and  jealous.

No body or institution is Island of its own. Recent event in the world has shown that no nation can survive without the cooperation of another nation(s). The action of the Ghollywood authorities should be condem by every peace loving individaul and organisation. As in every relationship, the tendecy of misunderstanding could arise, but the ability of resolving it amicably without the application of LIMIT SETTINGS which suggests hatred. = See more on LIMIT SETTING Setting Limits with Your Strong-Willed Child : Eliminating Conflict by Establishing Clear, Firm, and Respectful Boundaries.
