Negative reactions from concern Nigerians, have trailed the hand shake billboards of Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo state, and the United State President, Barack Obama, that adorned some strategic areas of state. The hand-shakes which took place when President Muhammadu Buhari, visited President Obama, of the United State, for bilateral talks, and security issues, are now the talk in town, as people reacted angrily as to the economic value or benefit of the billboards, even now that the state civil servants have embarked on a five (5) days warning strike over non payment of staff salary arrears by the Okorocha lead administration.

Rochas Okorocha, governor of Imo state is in the news again over the visit to the United States by President Muhammadu Buhari.
The last time, Okorocha was caught redhanded sleeping by the camera at a meeting in Washington between Buhari and the World Bank President, Jim Yong Kim. The photograph went viral on the net.
Today, five days after the visit, the controversial governor has stirred a new buzz on the net with his decision or maybe his sycophants’ to plaster the city of Owerri with billboards, showing him and President Barack Obama.
One tweet thumbed the governor so low and queried why the governor is showcasing the photo, as if it is testimonial of achievement. Some other tweets urge Okorocha to pay his workers first, instead of wasting money on billboards. One tweet taunts him to rename Imo state as ‘Obimo state’.
Change has nothing to do with billboards. Pay workers their salaries, empower the youths. Make life comfortable for your people Gov. Rochas.
I just heard that the Rochas & Obama billboard is just like MTN, its everywhere you go in Imo state. Is that the #Change?
Rochas should rename Imo state in honor of Obama to Obimo state. This is sad cos workers are trekking to work coz of nonpayment of salaries.
